ArtBike! Exhibition Rolling Into Indy

artbike indyThe national debut of ArtBike!—which takes place in Indianapolis, IN during the month of February as part of the build-up to the 2009 North American Handmade Bicycle Show (NAHBS)—is a 2-D/street art/sculpture/installation exhibition that is open to all. The creation of O2SM, a cycling specialist marketing and public relations company in San Francisco, ArtBike! taps into the energy created as bicycling meets mainstream progressive culture. Art galleries, bike shops, schools, artists and artisans will come together through community, bikes and art.

Participating galleries will display hand-made custom-painted bicycles from NAHBS, and there will be a special display area at NAHBS for selected contributing artists to show their art in a commercial setting in front of show attendees. Indianapolis school students have been invited to participate. Persons interested in participating in ArtBike! should contact Laura Brennan at O2SM via email or by calling 415.359.0730.
