Win an entry to the BC Bike Race

If you’ve been thinking about making the trek to British Columbia for the 2011 BC Bike race, here’s a chance to win one of two free entries, courtesy of Kazimirski Law Corporation. The Kazlaw Community Foundation is providing two spots at BC Bike Race the race people who make mountain biking happen in their community.

You can enter by nominating deserving riders in you community. Who is a deserving rider? They could be a trail builder, a dedicated volunteer, an inspiring rider, a developing young racer, or anyone else you feel deserves this opportunity.

The BC Bike Race is a seven-day mountain bike adventure from Vancouver to Whistler. 2011 will be its fifth year and will see a new stage in Campbell River, two more kids races in communities along the route and will host a ‘Challenge’ category that is half the ‘Epic’ distance but still just as fun.

Want to know what riding the race is like? Check out Dirt Rag Issue #155 for our report from the 2010 edition. It’s on its way to newsstands now, or grab yourself a subscription and it will come straight to your door.

To nominate someone, submit a short summary (up to 500 words) describing what this person does to make mountain biking happen, along with one to four inspiring photos. Email nominations to by April 6th.
